Editorial: " No hero was found in the town ( to save us ) , ' Wishing for an invader to come! " from a famous Persian poem with some changes. The editorial is about the war in Iraq. It reminds the suffering of the Iraqis people in the war. In r the past decade of the region more than anything we face the destructive role of Saddam Hossein in the peace for the region. It Shows how democracy in the middle east is essential for the establishing the peace in the region and the world. It discusses the war in Bosnia, Kuwait and Afghanistan and how the world people , though critical and protesting the US for showing his might , still the war had positive effects in the world society and saved the life of millions of people from tyranny and dictatorships. However the world people are not sure about the true purpose of the invaders and the their future plans for Iraq and the middle east. The world people to this effect showed a worldwide protest. The Saddam claims that the war is only for the Iraq's oil. Though it is difficult to get the true feeling of the Iraqi people toward war whit Saddam power still present in the region . However the Iraqi people cannot trust a western military power which with not a glorious background in the region. This is The irony of the destiny that the merciless nature of the war has made a savior of the Iraqi people from Saddam, a true criminal all his life , in the eyes of the ignorant Arab masses. Finally it questions the role of Islamic Republic of Iran , with years of plundering the Iranian people wealth , how is going to deal with the presence of the US , " the great Satan " , in its neighborhood. Probaly after a trick to promote Ayatollah Hakim and its Supreme Iraqi Council in future Iraq as a little Khomeini! And again reminds that we never want that Iran's dictators to be ousted by a foreign power and we are certain that the Iranian people can through the Islamic Republic desperate dictators to the history's hell! April 2003
